Hope you’re all doing great! SCOPET is proud to announce another capacity building workshop, this time in collaboration with the EB and Toastmasters Malta, on public speaking, debating skills and a rundown on what the MMSA AGM will consist of.
Whether you’re interested in sharpening your public speaking skills or thinking about contesting a role in the MMSA BD, consider applying for this workshop which will be held on the 23rd of February at Dar Manwel Magri starting at 4 pm.

Q: What is the MMSA AGM?
A: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a meeting conducted annually where the members of our organization gather to discuss and vote on key issues. These may include:
-MMSA's endeavors in the past term so far, including reports by the Officers, Faculty Board reps, and Board of Studies representatives.
-Changes to the Statute and Bylaws if required
-Presentation of Candidatures for the BD and SupCo for the next term.
The AGM will be followed by a debate during which candidates are asked to debate key topics related to their potential future role. This is your chance to get to know your potential future leaders and make an informed decision. Each and every active member in MMSA carries an individual vote so this is your chance to make your voice heard and to make use of your voting rights!
