Hi guys!! ๐Ÿ’™

As most of us have started our new scholastic year, on behalf of the entire Board of Directors of MMSA, we would like to wish you a huge good luck for the upcoming year โค

Since the term has started, SCOME has been hard at work over the summer for this upcoming year.

The SCOME team will be organizing a 1 hour seminar on "Neurophysiology and the Law" by Mr. Ulf Maunsbach, a lawyer and friend of Dr. Claude Bajada.
๐Ÿ“… Date: 7th of October
๐Ÿ•› Time: 12:00-13:00
๐Ÿ“ Location: NALR

Neurophysiology forms part of the curriculum for all medical students all around the world, and is essential to understanding how the human body functions. In particular, neurophysiology contributes to our understanding of the brain and nervous system – the human body’s communication network. Similarly, law is essential to the understanding and functioning of a democratic society.

As doctors, we focus on dysfunctions in the human body and seek to diagnose, treat and, where possible, cure these dysfunctions. As lawyers, we may similarly focus on dysfunctions in the societal body and seek ways to address and remedy them. Put differently, the medical and legal professions have more in common than might first appear...

If you are interested in attending this seminar please fill in this Google Form found below.

MMSA members who attend the seminar and fill in the post-seminar feedback form will be awarded an MMSA-issued certificate and points as well.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Martina Debono or myself.

Thank you!! ๐Ÿซถ

Also a huge thank you to Amy Cassar for the PR!!
